Alma Louise RichardsonJenkinsAlma Louise Richardson Jenkins, 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Ms. Jenkins was born a daughter of the late George Harry Richardson, Sr. and Patty Bell Flowers Richardson in Marion County, SC. She was of the Methodist faith. Ms. Jenkins was a wonderful wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence W. Jenkins; sons, Joseph Nollie Jenkins and Jimmy Lawrence Jenkins; grandson, Chris Blue; and siblings, George H. Jr., Woodrow, Bliss, Buck and Kate. Ms. Jenkins is survived by her children, Sandra (Rodney) Nutter and Patsy (Shelby) Lee; brother, Traywick Richardson; special daughters-in-law, Cathy (Bobby) Crawford and Regina Jenkins; grandchildren, Donna (Kent) Cady, Jamey (Leslie) Lee, Chip (Michele) Hatchell, Brian Hatchell, Scott (Brandy) Nutter, Candace (David) Rast, Lawrence Jenkins, Joshua Crawford and Amber Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Dylan (Sara) Blue, Connor and Addie Lee, Ashlyn, Kyle and Kaylyn Cady, Brayden and Brenden Hatchell, Drew and Bryce Nutter, Katie Thompson and Gracelyn and Phillip Rast; great-great grandchildren, Harper and Sawyer Blue; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Florence Baptist Temple directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florence National Cemetery.Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. DAVIS M. "BUCK" RICHARDSON
Davis M. "Buck" Richardson, 89, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Carolinas Hospital of Marion. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Richardson Funeral Home. Visitation will follow at the funeral home.
Mr. Richardson was born in Horry County, a son of the late George and Patty Bell Flowers Richardson. Also, he is preceded in death by a sister, Katie LeGette, and brothers George Richardson, Jr., Woodrow Richardson, and Bliss Richardson. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Iwo Jima and New Caledonia. Mr. Richardson was an avid motorcycle rider, having ridden well into his 70's. Once, he was able to fit 4 friends and himself on his motorcycle from Mullins to Ariel's Crossroad. He was member of Ariel Baptist Church. Mr. Richardson was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are sisters, Alma Louise Jenkins of Florence; brother, Traywick Earl Richardson of Myrtle Beach; and many nieces and nephews. 		Richardson, Davis Monroe (I48737)

J.W. Hensley.
Mr. Hensley is a native son of the Blue Grass state of Kentucky, born on the 7th of December, 1829, and he is a representative of one of Delaware county's earliest and most honored pioneer families. He is a son of William and Sarah (Peterson) Hensley, natives respectively of Kentucky and North Carolina. William was a son of James and Sally (Icenangoe) Hensley, the former of whom served throughout the period of the Revolutionary war and also assisted Daniel Boone and others in ridding the country of the hostile red men and opening up the country for civilization. He carved out a farm from the wilderness, and in 1830 moved with his family to Rush county, Indiana, where he improved a good farm and , again assisted in opening a frontier country for future development. The family underwent all the hardships and difficulties of life on the frontier, and after living and laboring there for many years this honored pioneer couple came to Delaware county and settled in Mt. Pleasant township, whence they were called to their final rest. Mr. Hensley became widely known in his community, and commanded the confidence and highest esteem of all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. His political support was given to the Democratic party, and he was a consistent and worthy member of the Primitive Baptist church. In his family were the following children: William, the father of our subject; John, James, Harrison, Aquilla, Sally, and Nancy, the last named the wife of Lorenzo Dow.

J.W. Hensley.
Mr. Hensley is a native son of the Blue Grass state of Kentucky, born on the 7th of December, 1829, and he is a representative of one of Delaware county's earliest and most honored pioneer families. He is a son of William and Sarah (Peterson) Hensley, natives respectively of Kentucky and North Carolina. William was a son of James and Sally (Icenangoe) Hensley, the former of whom served throughout the period of the Revolutionary war and also assisted Daniel Boone and others in ridding the country of the hostile red men and opening up the country for civilization. He carved out a farm from the wilderness, and in 1830 moved with his family to Rush county, Indiana, where he improved a good farm and , again assisted in opening a frontier country for future development. The family underwent all the hardships and difficulties of life on the frontier, and after living and laboring there for many years this honored pioneer couple came to Delaware county and settled in Mt. Pleasant township, whence they were called to their final rest. Mr. Hensley became widely known in his community, and commanded the confidence and highest esteem of all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. His political support was given to the Democratic party, and he was a consistent and worthy member of the Primitive Baptist church. In his family were the following children: William, the father of our subject; John, James, Harrison, Aquilla, Sally, and Nancy, the last named the wife of Lorenzo Dow.
