He is survived by his son, Lamar Gilbert of Marietta, and his daughter, Doris Wortham, of Dallas; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m. in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
