Billy Jay Pressley, 65, of the Dick Branch Community in Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at his residence.

A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Johnny and Nellie Roselle Waldroup Pressley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Pressley.

He is survived by his daughter, Vonna Jade Pressley of Hayesville, NC; his sons, Billy Zebulon Pressley of Murphy, NC, Fitchue Morrison of Livingston, TX, Weldon Brooks of Robbinsville, NC, and Atlas Brooks of Kernersville, NC; his brothers, Lloyd Pressley and David Pressley, both of Robbinsville, NC, and Kenny (Glenda) Pressley of Blairsville, GA; and his sisters, Shirley Hannah (Dock) and Helen Pressley, both of Dawsonville, GA; Joyce Miller (Michael), Lois Satterfield (David), and Brenda Powell (John), all of Robbinsville, NC. His grandchildren are Arryana Pressley, Hailey Roselle Pressley, Olivia Verner, Rylie Kendrick, Wesson Kendrick, and Leeland Kendrick.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm Friday, September 10, 2021, at Pressley Family Cemetery on Dick Branch Road. Reverend Josh Ledford will officiate.

Due to the risk of exposure to COVID, facial coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the service.

Tina Moody Brooks
(July 4, 1956 - October 17, 2008)

Tina Brooks, age 51 of Robbinsville, passed away, Friday, October 17, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of Leona Blevins Moody and the late James Moody. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Everett Brooks; sons and daughters-in-law, Jacob and Julie Phillips of Houston, TX, James and Cher Atwell of Conroe, TX, Weldon and Melissa Brooks of Robbinsville, Fitchue and Angela Morrison of Hiawassee Dam, GA, Atlas and April Brooks of Kernersville, NC, Todd and Teresa Phillips of Searcy, AK; daughters, and son-in-law, Amanda Phillips, Carrie Phillips both of Conroe, TX, Caroline Phillips of Robbinsville, and Shelley and David Orr of Robbinsville; sisters, Polly Buchanan, Oletha Moody both of Robbinsville, and Rena Ashe of Bryson City, NC. She has 18 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend Jim Postell will officiate.
